Can a foreign-owned company in Hungary apply?

The calls require a registered seat in Hungary, or a seat in the European Economic Area with a Hungarian branch and Hungarian tax number, and SME status under EU Regulation 651/2014 counting linked and partner enterprises – including foreign ones. Ownership nationality itself is not listed as an exclusion; group size usually decides.

Where do I apply for the 0% loans?

At an MFB Pont Plusz office – the intermediary network contracted by the Hungarian Development Bank (MFB). The application form must be complete with all mandatory annexes, and the project must not start before submission.

Are there fees on the 0% loans?

According to the calls there is no handling fee, commitment fee, prepayment or amendment fee, and no fee for assessment, contracting or disbursement – only third-party costs such as valuers or notaries. Early repayment is free at any time.
